Domestic Violence Survivor Leverages Her Experience to Help Women Transform Their Lives
Rene’ Johnson, The Power Zone Coach, announces her participation in two November events geared to support and inspire Utah women. Both women escaping poverty and women in business will gain tools to increase their self-reliance and the skills needed to positively empower themselves and others.
SANDY, UT – November 8, 2010 – Rene’ Johnson, The Power Zone Coach, will share her expertise and experience during two events geared to educate and strengthen Utah women. On November 16, Ms. Johnson will address the Salt Lake Chamber’s American Express Women & Business Conference, one of the longest running women’s conference in the nation. On November 18, aligned with the non-profit organization People Helping People, she will sponsor a night to honor single mothers in their efforts to overcome poverty.
In 1994, Ms. Johnson faced a life or death decision. A mother of two young children, she knew she must flee an abusive marriage in order to preserve the safety of herself and her family. Moving to an unknown town with no support system or employment opportunities, Ms. Johnson triumphed over a seemingly impossible situation. She chose to leverage this experience into something that could benefit others. Ms. Johnson gained the necessary education to begin her coaching business and now inspires others to tap into their confidence, leading to more productive personal and professional lives.

SANDY, UT — February, 26, 2010 - The first annual Illuminated Woman, Ignite Your Spark conference was held and Rene’ Johnson, The Power Zone Coach and Author of ‘Leaving Your Comfort Zone’ presented, Mastering Your Personal Power Zone. Rene’ was in the company of other top speakers such as Best-Selling Authors, Bridget Cook and Lisa Nichols from the movie the Secret. Her presentation was the first to sell out right after Lisa Nichol’s event and was the next largest attended session, receiving numerous accolades from attendees.
